Presenter Pedro Ruiz (Barcelona, 1947) returns to RTVE today with a unique new program, Nada del otro mundo (10.10 p.m.). It reappears on TVE after almost two decades of absence. Produced by RTVE in collaboration with El Terrat (The Mediapro Studio), the special is written and directed by himself, to “recover ways to have fun without getting dirty; a work without pretensions, but with intentions", the public corporation advances in a note.
At the presentation to the media of the program, Ruiz explained that the title of the special is like that because "no one does anything from the other world on TV". "I'm just looking for people to have a good time. By offering people a good time, many things are already achieved, not for you, but for the spectators: they will leave with a smile and with the idea that the world is kinder, and I celebrate that it is in this house where it is seen". he indicated, to add that the program is "cordial, affectionate, simple, murri and with truth".
Nada del otro mundo , as reported by RTVE, has as its mantra "things that happen for the first time" and will be structured with three talks, three recorded comedy fictions and two songs. Dulceida, Rozalén and a surprise character, who Ruiz will not know who it is until he appears on the set, are the guests with whom the presenter who debuted on TVE in 1972 as the first host of the sports program Estudio estadio will chat.
Antonia San Juan, Pedro Casablanc, Luisa Martín, Eloy Arenas, Enrique Cerezo, Paco Grande, Josep Pedrerol, Tomás Roncero, Jorge D'Alessandro, José Corbacho and Lucrecia star in short comedy fiction based on social issues.
