Céline Dion returns to the scene

Good news for Celine Dion and her fans. If in December the Canadian singer announced that she was forced to cancel the European tour that was supposed to start in February this year due to health problems - she suffers from the syndrome of the rigid person -, now she is about to return to show your best side. Céline, 55, has put aside the limitations of her illness, such as muscle spasms, and has worked hard to play her first role for a film, as well as creating some of the songs of the soundtrack.

Dion plays herself in the romantic comedy Love again, which will be released in Spain on May 12. The story centers on a woman, Mira Ray, played by actress Priyanka Chopra, who has just tragically lost the love of her life. Dejected, she starts texting her deceased partner's old phone number, but it turns out the number has been reassigned to another man, journalist Rob Burns, played by Sam Heughan (Outlander's Jamie Fraser ), and who has also just suffered a similar heartbreak. When he's assigned to write an article about megastar Celine Dion, he enlists her help to find out how he can meet Mira in person...and win her heart.

The artist's music puts the icing on the love story. In total, the soundtrack has fourteen songs, including the Canadian's greatest hits and five unreleased tracks, and highlights the title piece Love again. This is Céline's first release of new music since her 2019 album Courage.

At the moment, Céline Dion has shared the music video that gives title to her new hit Love again. "You don't have to move a mountain, just keep moving. Every movement is a new emotion. You don't have to find the answers, just keep trying", he sings in this new professional challenge.

And the trailer has also been released, in which you can see the performer of My heart will go on as a true guru of love: "It's crazy, but love has its own rules". Of her time in the film, Céline Dion has affirmed that she had a great time. “And to have the privilege of appearing with the beautiful and talented actors Priyanka Chopra and Sam Heughan in my first feature film is a gift I will always treasure. I think it's a wonderful feel-good story, and I hope people like it, and they like the new songs too."

This Céline, overflowing with enthusiasm, seems to have already put behind her bad health streak that culminated in December, when, broken by pain, she had to cancel her European tour planned for this year.
