The Madrid president, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, denounced this Thursday a boycott against the Community of Madrid by the Government of Pedro Sánchez, which is "a burden" for the region, but she has warned that, despite this, it will be "the retaining wall".
In the plenary session of the Assembly, Díaz Ayuso predicted that Madrid will have "all kinds of difficulties" but his Government will continue "fighting."
"Despite the discrepancies, despite the difficulties, we are going to be that wall of containment, of anxiety and discouragement," he expressed.
Díaz Ayuso has stressed that "there are many organizations and policies that we would have brought to the Community of Madrid but that have been boycotted, and has accused the Government of trying to "pit Madrid against the rest of Spain."
"We are going to be the retaining wall despite the burden we have on top of us," he assured.
