In mid-July, one of the summer's most publicized divorces was made public: the singer Ariana Grande (30) separated from Dalton Gomez (28) after two years of marriage. Days later it was known that they had broken up at the beginning of the year, and that the artist was dating Ethan Slater.

Despite the desire to carry out a discreet separation, the medium The Blast has had access to the agreement that establishes the terms of the separation. The most important point lies in privacy. Grande has become the passive subject of the agreement and Gomez is prohibited from giving details of the relationship: he will not be able to “grant interviews, write, appear in connections, help or cooperate in the preparation of presentations and books, articles, interviews, programs or other productions or publications of any kind that have to do with the third party”. The singer wants to prevent the production of audiovisual pieces to explain the separation.

The lawyers have also negotiated the monetary issue. Gomez will receive a one-time payment of $1,250,000 from Grande, and will not be able to claim financial support or a pension later. In addition, Gomez has the right to use, free of charge, the home that the couple had shared in Los Angeles, although he cannot rent it. When this period ends, the goal of the ex-partner is to liquidate the remaining mortgage, valued at six million dollars, by selling the property. Since it is a property in common, they will share what they get at 50%.

After Grande and Gomez formally filed for divorce in mid-September, the settlement now dictates that both will regain their bachelorhood on March 19, 2024.
