High court gives Croatian hjemmerøvere 16 years in prison

High court gives Croatian hjemmerøvere 16 years in prison

the Eastern high Court on Tuesday strengthened a judgment of the district court and sentenced to a Croatian brødrepar 16 years in prison for 22 hjemmerøverier.

the Brothers carried out the crimes in the period between 2015 to 2017. Their parents planned røverierne and is therefore sentenced to 12 years in prison.

All four received long sentences last year in the Court of Nykøbing Falster, but they appealed against since the judgments.

at the Time, the brothers was Toncek and Bernardo Mujagic at 24 and 21 years of age sentenced to imprisonment for 15 years, as The high Court were to have sharpened.

the Parents, Ljilana Mujagic and Santino Koren, was also sentenced to 12 years imprisonment in the district court.

A friend of the family, Ivica Gegic, gets eight years in prison for having participated in three of the hjemmerøverierne. He got the same punishment in the district court.

Røverierne was carried out on Zealand, Lolland, Falster, Sealand and Jutland.

Those convicted went typically after the elderly or sick persons.

In one of the cases broke, the two brothers check through a window to two elderly persons, a man and a woman, who was robbed of cash and jewellery to a total value of 115.820 crowns. Along the way, the two bagbundet with the strips, got wrapped duct tape on his head and a cloth in the mouth.

the Man was also awarded punched in the face. Only four hours later found the home-help services them bagbundet.
