FC Copenhagen had actually first purchased the AaB'eren Mikkel Kaufmann from the summer break.
However, the copenhagen club have now handed over a larger sum for AaB, and therefore can stortalentet already pulling in løvedragten now.
- We want to be absolutely sure that we are well covered on all positions in the spring, and therefore we have decided to download Mikkel check already now, says manager Stale Solbakken to fck.dk.
- It has all the time been an option in the agreement, if we wanted it. Now we get the opportunity to work with Mike in the training camp, and he gets good conditions to get into the squad and the club in a good way.
- Kaufmann has been on the radar with us for a long time, and after his great fall at AaB, we thought that the time was right. We see a great potential in him and believes that he can be developed to perform at the international level, so we look forward to having him down here, says Stale Solbakken.
the Kaufmanns contract with FCK runs until the new year 2024. Mikkel Kaufmann gets the shirt number 29.
On the AaB's website says nordjydernes executive director Thomas Bælum:
It was the wish of the FCK, that the transition happened already now, and in that regard we have agreed on a deal that will compensate us in a fair manner.
In the AaB is Mikkel Kaufmann season's top scorer with seven League goals- one more than Lucas Andersen.
Mikkel Kaufmann adds:
