Now it turns out that the well-known financier Ole Abildgaard - also known as 'Ole Mangepenge' - played a major role in the attempt to find new owners for the cash-strapped football club.

he admits after being confronted with the Ekstra information about the case.
- It is correct that it is me who has spoken with Anton Zingarevich (a member of the Russian family, red.). I asked him if he would like to be a minority shareholder in Brøndby IF. But it was not at all along with the family's other investments, so it was quickly shut down, says Ole Abildgaard, who is a member of the so-called 'Milliardærklubben'.
He describes the Russian family, which is supposed to be good for several billion dollars, as a part of the network'.
Ole Abildgaard has even been an investor in Brøndby IF for several years. Among other things, together with Aldo Petersen, who is another member of the 'Milliardærklubben'.

And so was the dialogue shut down, says Abildgaard, which itself has become rich on the investment in alternative energy.

Brøndbys main shareholder is rigmanden Jan Bech Andersen, which, however, by Ole Abildgaard was never involved in the dialogue with the Red Bull-rigmanden.
