Users online reported that the website also suffered from slow loading times. Users reported that the Walgreens COVID-19 Testing web section was down. Others claimed they tried to book a test for more than two hours.

The company issued a statement to NBC saying that they experienced a temporary outage in some of their web applications today, including the appointment scheduler for COVID-19 vaccines and testing. We apologize to our patients and customers for any inconvenience caused by the issue.

Walgreens stated last week that it was seeing an unprecedented demand for vaccine services and products in response to the national surge in COVID-19-related cases.
