Swedish police reported on Friday that they had cordoned off part of the Emporia shopping center in the southern city of Malmö after a shooting. According to the Sydsvenskan newspaper, two people have been injured, although it is not yet known how seriously.
The latest statement from the body reports that one person has been arrested as a suspect in the shooting, which is believed to be "related to the criminal environment."
At the moment, the agents are interviewing the testimonies and reviewing the images from the security cameras. The immediate danger to the public is considered to be over.
