The mayor of Badalona (Barcelonès Nord), Rubén Guijarro, has signed a Proclamation according to which restaurants and leisure venues will be able to extend their hours to offer a better service to those attending the Copa del Rey basketball celebration that will place in Badalona. February 17 to 19.
The hours of the recreational activities of the musical bar, musical restaurant, concert hall, theater café, concert café, restaurant, bar, restaurant bar and bench lounge may extend the maximum closing time by thirty minutes over the general schedule. Until now the usual closing time is at 00.00.
As for discos, dance halls and nightclubs with shows, the extension is 45 minutes over the general closing time, when they are now closing at 06:00.
The mayor points out on the side that "during these days perhaps we can put aside the worries, the problems and the usual bustle of our day to day to try to celebrate and savor, all the neighbors, a few days in which the values of solidarity in sport" and calls on citizens to enjoy basketball and the city.
Likewise, he adds that: "I hope that this tournament is a celebration of coexistence and I ask for your patience and understanding for the possible limitations of parking and circulation to carry out all the events of the Cup with safety and fear of a better display of the city outward".
