The UPF Barcelona School of Management (UPF-BSM), the management school of the Pompeu Fabra University, adapts to the needs and demands of the labor market following current trends. To this end, the school has a wide educational offer focused on different areas: Accounting and Finance, Business Administration and Management, Communication, Journalism and Translation, Creativity and Technology, Economics, Management and Health Sciences, Human Resources, Law, Politics and Public Management and Marketing and Branding. In all these areas, the UPF-BSM carries out a constant renewal of its portfolio, which allows it to respond to the needs of professionals and companies. Specifically, this 2023-2024 academic year expands its training offer with the incorporation of three new official master's degrees.

The Master's Degree in Data Analytics for Business, which allows training in big data, artificial intelligence and business intelligence. Furthermore, thanks to the agreement that UPF-BSM has with Microsoft, by taking an elective subject, students can prepare for and access the Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Associate certification exam for free. The new Master's Degree in Project Management and Culture of Change delves into the processes involved in project management, from the initial proposal to the report of conclusions, and allows students to prepare to pass the PMP professional certification of the Project Management Institute ( PMI). And the Master's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Technology and Sustainability, whose objective is to offer students the technical and strategic knowledge for the design and execution of all the processes involved in a value chain.

The three new master's degrees join the UPF-BSM offer, which consists of 46 programs (28 university master's degrees and 14 continuing education) that are taught in face-to-face, blended and online modalities. José Manuel Martínez-Sierra, general director of UPF-BSM, comments: “These new programs aim to update our offer by responding to the growing need for professionalization in areas such as big data, the culture of change or sustainability. At the same time, we allow our students to access some of the most in-demand and best-paid professions. Our focus is to train the leaders of the future, with transversal values that are the axis of our school such as innovation, equality or sustainability, and that will contribute to building a better world.”

The UPF-BSM is committed to academic quality, the transfer of knowledge and the development of research as axes for social transformation. Values such as rigor and ethics allow it to generate knowledge and economic and social impact, thanks to an active, personalized and interdisciplinary learning model. Recently, the school began a process of seeking academic excellence. In 2022 it was recognized with EQUIS accreditation, becoming the first management school in the country, linked to a public university, to obtain it.

This institutional recognition places UPF-BSM among the elite of international business schools. In turn, UPF-BSM has successfully completed the Business School Impact System (BSIS) process and has Institutional Accreditation from the Agency for Quality of the University System of Catalonia (AQU), thus becoming one of the ten centers in Catalonia to achieve this recognition.
