This Saturday the temperature will peak in April, with maximums that can reach 33º in some areas of Catalonia. But at night, the trend of the last few days is expected to change with the arrival of a front that will bring precipitation to a large part of the principality both on Sunday and Monday, as reported by Meteocat.
Showers are expected that can end up leaving precipitation at any point, although it is the regions of the northern third that would be most affected, reaching between 20 and 50 mm.
As of Saturday afternoon, rains are expected in points of the Pyrenees, Pre-Pyrenees and the western half of Catalonia, which locally may reach more points. They will be accompanied by a storm.
The change in air mass this weekend will mean that it will go from values of 20ºC at 1,500 meters above sea level this Friday to around ten on Sunday. The models draw the maximum rainfall on Sau, Susqueda, Montseny or Ripollès, where 50 to 80 liters could fall.
As indicated by the Servei Meteorològic de Catalunya, observing the temperature and precipitation meteograms it can be seen that from now on there will probably be a dynamic that will bring more changes in air masses and possible new episodes of precipitation in the medium term.
