CLEVELAND, Ohio - As Cleveland goes, so goes the nation. Or, at least the national chains ... when it comes to Paczki Day, aka Fat Tuesday, aka Mardi Gras.
Both Dunkin' Donuts and Krispy Kreme Northeast Ohio locations have announced they will be selling paczki tomorrow, February 28.
Dunkin' Donuts throughout the area will be serving fresh-baked paczki while supplies last Tuesday. Flavors include custard, lemon and raspberry. They will be sold individually or in bulk.
Krispy Kreme, at 6907 Pearl Road, Middleburg Heights, will also be serving paczki Tuesday. They will be made with the bakery's usual glazed topping, or powdered sugar, with raspberry, apple, strawberry or custard filling. Orders can be placed ahead by calling 1-440-845-1111.
Giant Eagle bakeries are also serving an array of paczki flavors.
