Barcelona Beach Festival announces that it is leaving Sant Adrià and will move to Galicia

Those responsible for the Barcelona Beach Festival (BBF) announced this Saturday that they are leaving Sant Adrià de Besòs (Barcelona) and that they are moving their 2024 edition to Galicia, after not having been able to celebrate their 2023 edition in Catalonia.

"Given the impossibility of having carried out the Barcelona Beach Festival 2023, and to keep the event alive, we have decided to make the journey; a collaboration with Galicia to celebrate the BBF 2024 in Santiago de Compostela," they announced on social networks. .

They assure that they hope "to be able to return to Barcelona in the future" and "to be able to expand this family to new cities", after which they encourage their followers to see themselves at "@gozofest" in Santiago de Compostela.

In the 2023 edition, the BBF could not be held because the Sant Adrià de Besòs City Council did not grant the necessary municipal license and its organizers did not then obtain "another location with the ideal conditions" to locate the festival.

The same BBF was already on the verge of being canceled in 2022 for the same reasons, but a last-minute agreement made it possible for it to finally take place.

World-known artists such as Avicii, David Guetta, Marshmello, Martin Garrix, Chainsmokers, among others, have participated in this "techno" festival.
