Dua Lipa has been in Barcelona to record a video clip and perform at the private McDonald's convention. But apart from working, the British singer has also had time to enjoy the Catalan capital with her boyfriend Callum Turner. One of the activities that she has not wanted to miss is eating ice cream.
The artist has been caught queuing to taste one of the artisanal ice creams from the local DelaCrem, a very popular family business in the heart of the city and which, in addition, recreated one of the recipes shared by Dua Lipa. So, in some way the circle has come full circle.
This ice cream parlor went viral in January 2024 for publishing a video on its social networks in which they covered the singer's favorite ice cream: vanilla with olive oil and salt. "It's so good, you have to try it," said Dua Lipa when she unveiled this flavor. According to her, it was enough to buy the usual vanilla ice cream and add these two ingredients.
As you can see in the video, DelaCrem wanted to make the singer's favorite ice cream using Catalan products. To achieve this, they chose extra virgin olive oil from Les Garrigues and salt from the Ebro Delta.
As the store published, they offered this flavor in January until they permanently ran out. So it is likely that Dua Lipa arrived several months late and was not able to try the Catalan version of her own creation.
