The most metropolitan flamenco takes place at the Segarra Theater in Santa Coloma de Gramenet

The Teatre Sagarra will host this coming Saturday, October 14 (7:30 p.m.), the presentation of the V edition of the Flamenco Festival of Santa Coloma de Gramenet (Barcelonès Nord), the Flamenc-ON, organized by the Manolo Sanlúcar Aura Seguros Foundation and which it will be developed in different spaces of the city during the months of February and March 2024.

In this new edition, the festival presents a program with a metropolitan vocation, extending to neighboring towns to its main headquarters, which is Santa Coloma de Gramenet.

Flamenc-ON has become, since its first edition, one of the most prestigious flamenco events in the country, offering both the participation of the biggest names on the national and international scene as well as young talents without forgetting those aimed at the smallest ones and those that take place in the streets of the city, with the aim of bringing flamenco closer to everyone and in all places.

People attending this presentation event will be able to enjoy a special evening with the staging of a fragment of Manolo Sanlúcar's symphonic work 'Aljibe', represented by the Dance Department of the Institut del Teatre. Also from the performances of Alonso Núñez 'Rancapino Chico', Esmeralda Rancapino, the guitar of Antonio Higuero, the percussion of Ramón Torres and the clapping of 'El mosquito' and Diego Amaya.
