The job offer for a waiter's assistant that infuriates the networks: "It is illegal to post that"

The hospitality sector, known for its labor challenges, has once again been the focus of attention thanks to a complaint shared by Soy Camarero, a platform that gives a voice to workers and owners in the hospitality field. On this occasion, the outrage arises from a job offer for a busboy that has generated controversy on social networks.

In the aforementioned job advertisement, terms that some consider unacceptable have been revealed. The offer comes from a restaurant on the beach that points out that English is essential. "Good presence, people skills and desire to work," they say. They point out that experience in the sector and a basic level of German is required, too.

The factor that has dynamited the social networks of this job advertisement is the hourly salary: 4.95 euros. They add that the vacancy is for full time and that the hours are "to be agreed upon." The offer also highlights in "extras" that the hours and salary are also "to be agreed upon."

From the Noticias Trabajo portal account they have reacted to the publication stating that "The proposed salary per hour worked is illegal." "Currently the Minimum Interprofessional Wage is 7.88 euros per hour. If this calculation includes vacations, it is 8.45 euros per hour worked," they stated.

"Do you bring the chains from home or do they already put them on you?" one Internet user commented sarcastically. "Knowing English and German, he goes to work for 5 euros for his grandmother with a Ouija board," another user responded indignantly. "It's strange that they don't have queues of professionals with that huge salary they offer and with the scant resume they demand," another user of the platform added ironically, among the multitude of messages that emphasize that this salary is illegal, as well They remembered from the specialized portal mentioned above.
