Children are used to asking for everything for their birthday. It is up to your family to fulfill your wish or not. However, even the smallest ones should be careful with their requests, because many times they can be fulfilled, no matter how extravagant they may seem.
That's exactly what happened to Inés, an Argentine girl who, for her birthday, had asked for a chicken as a gift. The problem: she didn't specify if she wanted it as a toy or real. And her aunt opted for the second option, although she did not expect it.
As soon as they call her, the little girl runs out of the house. She knows that they are going to give her a gift and that she is inside a cardboard box, decorated with a pretty bow.
"Do you remember what you asked for your birthday?" they ask. With some doubt, Inés answers: "A chicken." And there comes the big surprise. She opens the box and remains almost motionless when she realizes that it is a real animal. No sign of a toy or stuffed animal.
Inés did not hide her surprise when she discovered her gift: "I asked for a toy chicken." However, her aunt and her friends reminded her that she did not specify whether she wanted it as a toy or not. "We brought you one that lays eggs and everything," they continue.
The video has ended up going viral on both TikTok and Instagram. "Thank goodness he didn't ask for a dinosaur," jokes one user. "A chicken is not a toy. Even the baby realized that," criticized another. "The girl: but are you or are you made?" others add.
