Classic Milanese risotto: learn how to cook the simplest, simplest and most delicious recipe

We can wake up on a Sunday without wanting to leave the house and with few reserves in the refrigerator. If we don't want to resort to home delivery and we have a package of rice in the pantry, we can prepare a luxury risotto.

The recipe that we propose is that of the classic Milanese risotto, a simple preparation with very few ingredients but delicious. If you don't have saffron at home, you can use pepper, nutmeg or any other spice you fancy, although it never hurts to have a jar of good saffron in our pantry.

>300 gr. of rice.

>600 ml. of broth (chicken or vegetables).

>4 tablespoons of butter.

>50 gr. Grated parmesan.

>1 onion.

>ground saffron.

>shall.

1. Peel and chop the onion.

2. In a saucepan, put a knob of butter and when it is melted, sauté the onion in it.

3. Add the rice and stir together with the onion until the rice takes on a shiny and slightly transparent color.

4. Lower the heat, continue stirring and add the hot broth little by little. He will drink the rice.

5. During the 25-30 minutes of cooking, continue adding the broth that the rice needs and always over low heat.

6. In the last five minutes of cooking, add the rest of the broth, the saffron, the rest of the butter, and the grated Parmesan cheese and mix everything well.
