The Barbie phenomenon continues to make people talk, and this time it is not a new doll or a movie, but rather a gastronomic collaboration that promises to conquer the most demanding palates. Kraft Heinz Co. has surprised the world by partnering with Mattel Inc. to launch "Barbiecue" sauce, a limited edition of a vegan barbecue-flavored sauce, which promises to capture the essence of the iconic doll.

This new creation, which comes in a signature pink hue and is decorated with the famous ponytailed doll's profile, represents a bold innovation from the food maker. With a name that nods to pop culture and a flavor that promises to be unforgettable, Barbiecue has generated quite a stir since its announcement.

The launch of Barbiecue sauce is in honor of the iconic doll's 65th anniversary, and represents a tribute to her legacy and lasting impact on popular culture. This collaboration between Kraft Heinz Co. and Mattel Inc. seeks not only to offer a new product, but also to celebrate the influence and continued relevance of Barbie in the contemporary world.

This launch will be exclusive in the United Kingdom and Spain, where it is expected to arouse great interest among consumers, although the vice president of Growth, Developed Markets of Europe and the Pacific of Kraft Heinz, Andre Fernandes, left open the possibility of expanding its distribution to other markets in the future: "We would never say we would never release it in other markets. We've even had people from Australia asking for Barbiecue."

In the UK, the sauce will be available as a limited edition offering, with an initial quantity of 5,000 bottles available to purchase online and in select supermarkets. In Spain, approximately 12,000 bottles will be available in 120 El Corte Inglés department stores, along with some online raffles for the most enthusiastic fans.

The TikToker known as Strawberry Chicle is one of the most popular Barbie fans on the Spanish scene. As soon as the news became known, she did not hesitate to explain it to her followers. "This year is the 65th anniversary of our beloved Barbie," she noted. "For me, you already know that every day of my life is Barbie day; so happy and counting the days to try this sauce," she concluded.

The development of Barbiecue has been meticulous, with the team at Kraft Heinz working for six months to perfect the recipe. Fernandes revealed that the idea arose from the interest expressed by fans on social networks: "One fan even told us that he would dye his hair pink if we brought Barbiecue to life." This enthusiasm was the necessary impetus to carry out the project, which promises to offer a unique culinary experience.

Combining classic Heinz BBQ sauce with a touch of vegan mayonnaise, Barbiecue sauce has been designed to capture the essence of Barbie in every bite. “This smoky sauce is the perfect complement to juicy grilled burgers, crispy fries and everything you can think of,” highlighted Heinz.
