The Local Police of Vitoria-Gasteiz have arrested the manager of a bar in this town for threatening a customer with a knife because he had petted his dog, as reported by the council in a statement.
The events occurred this past Tuesday, around 11:30 p.m., when a patrol of agents was requested by the Coordination Center to appear at an establishment on Coronación de la Virgen Blanca Street.
According to the note, a 28-year-old man was trying to physically attack a customer of the establishment with a knife, whom he also threatened verbally.
The agents who went to the establishment interviewed the people who were in the bar, who explained to them that the manager had reacted in a very aggressive manner when one of the bar's customers had petted his dog.
Following the information provided by witnesses, they arrested the suspect, a 28-year-old man, as the alleged perpetrator of a crime of threats and attempted injuries with a knife. As explained by the council in the statement, the detainee has been transferred to police stations.
