Paella is a classic of Spanish cuisine, although everyone has their favorite: rabbit, lean, chicken, vegetables or mixed. Although, regardless of what we add, we must always respect some basic steps and instructions. If not, we can sign a disastrous dish.
This is what happened to an Italian, who posted his experience on TikTok and it has gone viral. This man intended to prepare an authentic Spanish paella, without knowing very well what he was doing, although his intentions were noble.
This Italian didn't even have paella or the basic ingredients for its preparation, so he opted to buy a pack from Lidl that included a container and all the ingredients to get delicious rice with squid.
The problem came when he got down to work. It didn't take long to prepare the paella. He opened all the containers and dumped them on the container, without respecting the usual order. And an even bigger mistake: he added the main ingredients (rice) frozen. And he had it all in the fire until it all turned into some kind of paste.
He ended up happy with his paella and said it was delicious, but the users thought the same thing. "Not even my dog will eat that. And it's a broom car. Just with the bitterness of the burnt paprika, it has to be horrible in flavor," says one. "My eyes sting when I see it. And he ate it all," adds another.
