8 wines made by women that you can't miss

As part of Women's Day, we celebrate the female contribution to the world of wine by highlighting eight exceptional wines made by women winemakers who capture the essence of their vineyards with mastery and passion. Here we leave them to you.

Paloma San Ildefonso joins the family legacy in this project that embodies the care and dedication in the production of wines from the Toro region. Together with her father Roberto de ella, this team of professionals captures the essence of the vineyard and the terroir with a unique approach.

With Sara Juan at the helm, Bodegas Bela stands out for creating wines that fuse the history and tradition of the Ribera de Duero with the elegance of Rioja. Together with winemaker María Larrea, they achieve an exceptional balance that reflects CVNE's solid trajectory.

Sandra Estévez leads the production of sparkling wines at Heretat Mastinell, demonstrating her ability to face new challenges with audacity and passion. Her experience in Priorat and her training in Oenology position her as a leading figure in the industry.

Vins de Taller winemaker, Ángela Salví, is one of the promoters of this organic rosé wine from Empordà in tribute to Josep Pla. A winery (and a professional one) with a clear philosophy and vocation to create organic and biodynamic wines.

Under the supervision of Celler Piñol's winemaker, Cristina Borrull, the winery launched this wine in honor of the patron saint of Batea, where the winery is located. With ecological practices throughout its vineyard, this wine is a tribute to the land and its traditions.

Noemí Javierre collaborates with Fernando Grajales in this project focused on quality and responsible viticulture. With old vineyards that give low yields, Dosterras produces limited production wines that reflect respect for the terroir and minimal oenological intervention.

L’Avi Arrufí is a tribute to the grandfather of the family, Josep Arrufí, a farmer and very hard worker. A wine also supervised by Cristina Borrull of Celler Piñol, single-varietal 100% Garnacha Blanca from the oldest family vineyards, about 50 years old.

With Albert Jané at the helm, this wine is a tribute to the family legacy and the terroir of the DO Montsant. Cultivating the vines that surround his family's farmhouse, Jané rescues tradition with passion and commitment, inspired by his mother, María Úbeda.

These eight wines are examples of the oenological excellence and diversity that women bring to the wine industry.

In every bottle is the talent and dedication of passionate women who push boundaries and elevate the art of wine to new heights. On this Women's Day, we toast your contribution and your continued inspiration.
