Young Miko on his homosexuality in 'El Hormiguero': "You have to let yourself be loved and you have to be yourself"

The Antena 3 program presented by Pablo Motos has welcomed one of the artists of the moment, the Puerto Rican singer Young Miko, to its set. The trapera comes to our country for the LOS40 Music Awards 2023, so she will perform at the Wizink Center on November 3.

Likewise, Young Miko could take home more than one statuette, since she is nominated in two different categories: Best New Artist or Group in the Global Latin Category and Best Urban Collaboration for her song with Feid, Classy 101.

In addition to talking about his professional career, the presenter took the opportunity to ask him about his private life. The rapper came out of the closet at the age of 17 into a religious family, something that marked a before and after in her life.

"What advice would you give to a boy or girl who is in a similar situation?" Motos asked her, to which Young Miko was clear: "They are my parents and at the end of the day they will always love me, things may take a little while but you are not the only one who feels that way" she exclaims.

"I would have loved someone to tell me not to be afraid to express myself, that's what life is about too, you have to let yourself be loved and you have to be yourself, what if we die tomorrow?" concludes the composer of hits like Wiggy and Riri.
