Why everyone is talking about a supposed relationship between Paula Badosa and Stéfanos Tsitsipás

The world of tennis continues to live in a passionate way Roland Garros. On this Friday afternoon, Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic dispute one of the two semifinals to become crowned Grand Slam champion. However, not all attention is focused on clay at the moment. There are two tennis players in particular, from the WTA and the ATP, who have set off alarm bells about a possible relationship: Paula Badosa and Stéfanos Tsitsipás.

While the bulk of sports fans have their eyes on the Philippe-Chatrier track at the Parisian stadium, numbers 29 and 5 of their respective rankings have been seen together on social networks. Specifically, both Badosa and Tsitsipás appear in each other's Spotify profile photos, forming a tandem of joint images. Beyond confirming what many followers suspect, tennis players have preferred to joke about it.

"Waiting for the Spotify bonus on this," Badosa wrote on his Twitter profile, accompanying the text with a heart. Not content with that, Tsitsipás upped the ante and went so far as to mention the official Spotify account in his native country, Greece: "Shall we focus it regionally?" It is nothing new for the tennis player to make this type of statement, always being linked to various controversies, especially those involving the Australian Nick Kyrgios.

For her part, the Catalan did not seem to be affected by this type of uncomfortable situation. After having ended a sentimental relationship with the Cuban model Juan Betancourt, Badosa seems to have found love, or at least company, in someone who practices the same discipline as her. In fact, the tennis player has been seen in Paris closely following the duels of the Greek in the men's draw, taking advantage of the free time she had.

And it is that both tennis players have seen Roland Garros in very different ways this year. Badosa has not been able to participate directly due to serious physical problems. “When everything seemed to be fine again, bad news again just before the start of a Grand Slam. At the tournament in Rome I suffered a stress fracture in my spine. It has been very hard news after such a difficult start to the year with injuries. This is going to keep me out of the competition for a few weeks ”, he announced on social networks.

On the other hand, Tsitsipás has been one of the outstanding players of the tournament, but his skill has not been enough to make it to the top four. After overcoming the first three rounds without too many scares, defeating the Spanish Roberto Carballés, the Greek reached the round of 16 defeating the Austrian Sebastian Ofner in three sets. However, his participation would come to an end in the quarterfinal match, in which it was impossible for him to counteract Carlos Alcaraz.
