What exactly happened to Johnny Depp in Budapest after reports that he was found unconscious?

Johnny Depp once again sets off alarm bells and concerns among his fans. The band that the actor formed with Alice Cooper, Hollywood Vampires, was forced to cancel the concert in Budapest on July 18 after the actor was allegedly found unconscious in his hotel room. A fact that the band defined as a series of "unexpected circumstances" in the brief statement they issued a few minutes before the show began, has only generated all kinds of rumors and speculation about the actor's health and a possible relapse into his addictions.

According to some Hungarian media, the actor was totally unable to act after going overboard with the party the night before. "What we heard was that Depp was overexcited and couldn't even leave the hotel. We also heard that they had called a doctor to see if something more serious had happened," the tabloid Blikk quoted, revealing his source as "a person with information about the case."

The artist's followers could not help but worry not only about these cancellations, but also because the information would point to a new relapse of the actor in his addictions. In Budapest, a Twitter user shared an image of the actor drinking just an hour before a concert that would later be cancelled. According to this user, Depp would have gotten sick when he arrived at the hotel, where he would have fainted.

"Depp is suffering a relapse due to substance abuse," confirmed a source close to the aforementioned portal, "Everything was ready, the stage was set, the background team was also ready for the party. It didn't even occur to me that there might be a problem, especially since the band members also did the sound setup scheduled for the afternoon," said the source.

Some suspicions that fall with concern on his followers, since everyone knows the strong dependence that the actor has always had on certain substances such as alcohol, opiates, benzodiazepines and stimulants. Moreover, during his media trial for defamation against his ex-wife, Amber Heard, he revealed that he had been using drugs since he was 11 years old and that it was "the only way" he found "to ease the pain."

The aforementioned portal also recalled that the group canceled their performance two days later in Slovakia due to "inadequate conditions" of the assembly and the stages, unable to guarantee the safety of the band members or their followers; but he did take the stage last Saturday, July 22, at the Legend Rocka Festival, held in the city of Slupsk, Poland.

A concert where it was possible to verify that Johnny Depp was apparently fine and playing without problems. The same in Summerstage Autostadt, in Wolfsburg (Germany), where he could also be seen with his band giving everything on stage.

The actor continues his life as if nothing had happened, with a concert scheduled for next Friday, July 28 in Boston, which will celebrate the return of the band to the United States.
