Victoria Federica's radical change of attitude: she tells everything about Irene Urdangarin's birthday

A special secrecy was presumed around the party for Irene Urdangarin's 18th birthday. There are many unknowns to be resolved: if Juan Carlos will travel from Abu Dhabi to accompany his granddaughter on such a special day, if the princesses Leonor and Sofía will be there or if there will be a reunion between Cristina de Borbón and Iñaki Urdangarin.

Against all odds, Victoria Federica has advanced some details of the party that will be held in Geneva on June 16. This is the first time that she has addressed the press in such a friendly manner and giving details of one of the most important events regarding the Royal Family this year.

In statements to Europa Press, the young woman has confirmed that she will travel to Geneva to be with her cousin on one of her most important days, to celebrate coming of age with her family.

Regarding the rest of the family, the daughter of the Infanta Elena is not very clear about the attendees of the event: "Well, I don't know, just the same, I suppose. I don't know who is going to come and who is not." Regarding her grandfather Juan Carlos, she has not wanted to confirm anything either, although "if she comes" she will be "very delighted".

Victoria Federica assures that it would not be a problem for her to coincide with Iñaki Urdangarin, a controversial figure for the Royal Family since he was convicted of embezzlement, prevarication, fraud against the Administration, two tax offenses and influence peddling in the Nóos case.

Lastly, King Felipe's niece has been very proud of her brother Froilán and his participation in the organization of the United Nations Climate Summit, COP28, which is held in Dubai (United Arab Emirates) between November 30 and on December 12, 2023, according to La Razón. "Well, I don't know what he's going to do, really, but I'm very happy for him," she said.
