Victoria Abril reacts to accusations of sexual assault by Lucie Lucas: "I didn't know anything"

In recent days, French actor Gérard Depardieu has found himself at the center of controversy following allegations of rape and sexual abuse by different women linked to the film industry. Although there have been multiple criticisms of the interpreter, he has also received the support of several dozen personalities, among whom is Victoria Abril.

The Spanish woman is one of the signatories of a manifesto against the "lynching" of Depardieu, a public support that has led to the dissemination, this Wednesday, of a text in which the actress Lucie Lucas accuses Abril of sexual assault. "Hello, Victoria, do you want us to talk about your numerous attacks, including sexual attacks on your partner?" She wrote in a post by Charlotte Arnould, one of Gérard Depardieu's accusers, on Instagram.

The French woman's harsh accusations have led Victoria Abril to react quickly, just a few minutes after Lucas's testimony became known. The television program TardeAR, which Telecinco broadcasts every afternoon, has echoed the Spanish woman's first words regarding the public dissemination of this alleged episode.

It was the journalist Leticia Requejo, a regular collaborator of the program, who was in charge of speaking directly with the actress shortly after the news broke in Spain. "She told me that she didn't know what she was talking about," says Requejo. "In fact, I had to send her the news so that she would find out what was happening around her," she added later.

The conversation between the communicator and the actress took place around four-thirty in the afternoon, although Leticia Requejo has assured that what happened previously was known in France. "The news in France broke last night, but it crossed the border and reached us around noon," she said.

"I didn't know anything, I sent her the news as it couldn't have been any other way, and she didn't want to answer me. I noticed she was a little angry, and what she did ask me was not to write to her again because I didn't "I had nothing to say," Requejo concluded about the conversation he had with Victoria Abril just after being accused of sexual assault.
