This is the haunted house that Brad Pitt has managed to sell for 40 million dollars

Hollywood actor Brad Pitt is in luck. The protagonist of Interview with the Vampire managed to sell his mansion a little over a week ago for 40 million dollars, 24 times more than the value for which he bought it.

The business has turned out well, but it has not been easy to carry out this operation, since for some time it has been said that the mansion is "cursed" or "haunted" and that it houses authentic horrors.

The American actor acquired the luxurious home in 1994 for $1.7 million. The residence is located in Los Feliz, California, on the outskirts of Hollywood, a large piece of land on which to live.

Rumors about the house being haunted were already around when Pitt bought it. In part, that feeling of curiosity and the mystery that surrounded the building were some of the strong points that led him to make the decision to buy it.

The house belonged at that time to the actress Cassandra Peterson, who warned him of the strange condition: "Things happen here. A series of phenomena have occurred that we cannot explain."

As Peterson herself has recounted on several occasions, she herself came to witness physical people upstairs and used to hear the sound of a woman's heels, as if she was constantly going up the stairs. She also once claimed that she saw ''a woman drowned in the pool'' and ''a man by the fireplace,'' something she later could not explain, but also experienced by the house workers.

But all these stories and anecdotes only fueled Brad Pitt's desire to live in the mansion, something that finally happened. The marriage formed by the actor and Angelina Jolie lived in the house for several decades until their breakup in 2016.

During all those years, Brad Pitt did not regret a single second of having moved to the strange house. Today, the house has appreciated 24 times its value, so it really was one of the best investments of the actor's life.

The fame of the mansion is so great that it has been analyzed in the Cuatro program presented by Iker Jiménez. In the television space they have made an analysis of the history of the residence built by an oil magnate who committed suicide after the Crac of 29.

The program revealed that the mansion was acquired by a businessman who organized luxury parties where "everything happened", from deaths by drowning in the pool, overdoses... they even claimed that actor Mark Hamill, Luke Skywalker in Star Wars, had found the lifeless body of a friend of his during one of those parties in a closet in the house.
