This is how Jesús Calleja lives: 15,000 meters of natural area with its own heliport

Not everyone can boast of living in a house like Jesús Calleja's. The popular adventurer and presenter lives in an authentic mansion, with no less than 15,000 square meters of natural landscape, in his native León.

The Planeta Calleja presenter lives in Golpejar de la Sobarriba, a town of only 275 inhabitants a few kilometers from the capital, in a spectacular 400 square meter chalet surrounded by nature on a huge estate that, because it owns, has its own heliport .

The house, of which some details could already be seen in the adventurer's appearance on Bertín Osborne's program My house is yours in 2017; It is located on a large plot of 15,000 square meters, which contains your chalet, as well as the heliport with a landing strip, attached to a large hangar. There, the adventurer also has his mountaineering school, which he inaugurated in 2006.

A property with more than 1,000 square meters built, although only 400 meters belong to the chalet. A three-story residence, with large spaces, with a huge exterior porch. The house has a modern architectural style, with dark wood moldings and large windows.

One of the rooms that attract the most attention are its two living rooms. The first is painted completely black and decorated with white statues; attached to the dining room and his office; The second is completely decorated in a Hindu style, a religion for which the adventurer has confessed to having a predilection.

With stone and dark wood walls, the room is decorated with Buddhist sculptures.

The kitchen is one of his favorite rooms. Joined to the living room and dining room and also in black and white, it has a large rectangular island in the center, also white. A rectangular window lets in a lot of light.

However, where he likes to spend the most time is outside. The adventurer has a large outdoor porch that surrounds the house, with more than 15,000 square meters of vegetation.

Jesús Calleja can boast of currently living with all the comforts, but in the beginning it was not like that. The presenter confessed a few years ago that he went through a difficult economic situation in the beginning, having to make all kinds of financial efforts to be able to fulfill his dream.

"I paid for it all. I have worked hard at what you cannot imagine and I have gone so far as to mortgage myself up to my eyebrows to be able to pay for my flight license studies," he explained, defining himself as a "hustler" for his inventiveness in time to face problems.
