But in this type of matter there are usually several scams by certain property owners, who try to get the most money without even letting the tenants enjoy what they had paid for. The Telecinco program Ya es mediodía has addressed this issue in today's broadcast. And it is that several tenants of Jerez de la Frontera have denounced a couple for threats and fraud.
The Telecinco space revealed that the alleged fraudster has already deceived more than 18 families. The couple published on home rental pages photographs of the rooms that they made available to those interested. At first everything seemed normal, the couple even created a rental contract and handed over some keys. But what the tenants didn't know is that those keys were fake.
The couple's modus operandi was to show the interested parties the house, with their children in front of them, and asked them for a deposit of up to 400 euros. When they had to get home, the couple wouldn't let them in, they wouldn't return their deposit, and they also threatened to kill them.
During the broadcast of the program, they revealed that the owners would have more than twenty complaints for fraud. The magazine team has been able to speak with several affected witnesses, who have received several death threats. "He told me that he was going to cut me into little pieces," they confessed. Two of the witnesses claimed to have met through social networks, after reading a publication in which they denounced this family. "What I saw when I entered the house was a couple with children cheating with minors, which has been reported to social services," declared a witness.
The house is their property and despite having several complaints, the couple continues to publish their apartment on different websites to continue scamming. In addition, the witness assured that the rent was for the entire house and that the excuse they gave for not letting anyone in is that they are moving to a supposed house in Rota.
