The journalist and presenter from Albacete says goodbye to television after 34 years in the medium, out of a total of 45 that he has dedicated to the media. Asked what his life will be like after retiring, Piqueras is clear: he wants to travel and dedicate himself entirely to his family. On that list of loved ones is the woman with whom the communicator has a romantic relationship, although he is jealous of her privacy and has barely given details about her.
Her name is Esther Barriga and she has a degree in Pharmacy. Piqueras himself spoke about the issue months ago in Planeta Calleja, explaining the reasons for his attitude towards the most private sphere. What he did dare to confirm is the type of relationship he has with her, after a previous marriage with a woman named Ana. "I was married and now I have another type of non-marital relationship," he explained on the Cuatro program, without even mentioning his partner's name.
Among his most personal revelations, Pedro Piqueras is especially harsh when he talks about his son Curro, born precisely from his marriage to Ana.
