The tactical divorce of Chiara Ferragni and Fedez after the pandoro of shame

Chiara Ferragni and Fedez have not shared publications or stories together on Instagram since last December 10 and they do not comment on each other on the images they share on their respective profiles, not even when their children, Leo and Vittoria, appear in them. What might seem very normal for the rest of us, is not normal for people who broadcast their lives almost live on the social network.

This dissociation of content, which has already caused talk in Italy of another crisis or separation of the couple, could respond to a real distancing or to a strategy aimed at safeguarding as much as possible the individual image of both after the notorious scandal of the Pandora.

The last publication that Fedez and Ferragni shared with their partner dates from December 10, 2023 on their respective profiles. Five days later it was learned that the Italian justice system imposed a fine of more than one million euros on the companies Fenice and Tbs Crew, both owned by Ferragni, for unfair commercial practices in the sale of the Pandoro Balocco, designed by the influencer. Since then Ferragni has been in the spotlight and she and Fedez do not appear together as they did before.

It was on December 17 when Fedez came out in defense of his wife with a video on the social network that was more criticized than applauded. He disgraced the numerous journalists gathered near his house who should be dealing with "more important" news than Ferragni's. For that gesture, harsh criticism rained down on him and it was the turning point that led to their tactical divorce. Better to save your clothes separately than to receive constant criticism on two Instagram accounts that between them have 44 million followers.

All in all, is this just a tactical divorce on social networks or is it the prelude to a real separation? Some Italian media and also sources to this newspaper insist that the separation goes beyond strategy. The couple has overcome crises in recent years and in these low hours they could be going through another. Although they celebrated New Year's Eve together, the influencer's absence was noted this Sunday on the birthday of the rapper's father, Franco Lucía, who turned 64. Ferragni's non-attendance at these family events is unusual, in fact quite the opposite.
