The surreal reaction of a single woman from 'First Dates' when she sees her date enter: ''He's a badass character''

More and more people are embarking on the complicated adventure of finding their soul mate. And what better place than the most famous restaurant on television, First Dates. On Wednesday night, Carlos Sobera and Laura Boado welcomed different diners, who decided to go to Cuatro's space with the aim of finding love. But the television program does not always meet the expectations of the diners and many of them end up being most disappointed.

Something that Paula and Álvaro experienced firsthand. The 19-year-old single woman came to the restaurant looking for "a movie love, with a happy ending." ''I'm looking for a guy who makes me laugh, who isn't bland and who knows what he wants,'' the single woman asked. She considered herself an ambitious and non-conformist person, since she always aspired to the highest. And although she was a little nervous about meeting someone blindly, the single woman was more than willing to meet the man of her dreams.

But unfortunately, Paula was going to experience a completely opposite situation. Her date was going to be Álvaro, a 20-year-old single, who claimed to be "a person who exudes happiness." ''I have something that catches people's attention, I make them feel alive,'' confessed the Valencian.

However, what seemed like a dream date turned into an uncomfortable reunion between two old acquaintances in a matter of seconds. ''It just can't be! Could it be true? '', pointed out the single woman, who couldn't believe that Álvaro was her date. ''We met at a party,'' explained the bachelor under the watchful eye of Carlos Sobera, who did not understand what was happening.

The bachelor had good memories of Paula, but the single woman was quite disappointed that her date was going to be him. ''He's a stupid character, there's no way to catch him,'' she said. ''I think he likes me,'' commented the bachelor. After starting a small conversation, the presenter accompanied the couple to his table, where the evening began.

Once seated, the singles recalled stories from the past with which Paula further corroborated her disastrous opinion of the single. ''I was expecting a brunette with blue or green eyes because that melts me,'' the single woman stated. But despite Paula's hints, Álvaro remained convinced that the attraction was mutual.

At one point during the evening, Paula confessed that she did not play any sports and that she had a very strong character. ''I also have character and between the two of us we can have a lot of affinity and help each other in that sense,'' he confessed. ''He is a character. The girl who is with him prays...'' she asserted.

In the final stretch of dinner, Álvaro surprised his date with a stellar musical performance. But the only thing he managed to do was increase the rejection of the single woman. ''There's no way to catch him, even a lesser-known singer would sing better than him,'' declared the single woman.

As expected, Paula rejected Álvaro because she had not felt chemistry. ''You're a character, but I'm not used to seeing people like that, it's like I'm a science fiction character,'' she told him. ''I didn't like your comments, you're going to lose a dedicated, sentimental, thoughtful and affectionate kid,'' he said.
