Bertín Osborne has surprised again this Wednesday with a new fact of his life by revealing the magazine Lecturas that the presenter will be a father at 69 years of age. He will have his seventh child with his current girlfriend, María Gabriela Guillén, 32, and, as he explained, the child "is neither wanted nor wanted" but he says he will take care of him.
This new paternity arrives on television well into his old age and it could mean a radical turn in his life. So far he had only recognized a friendship with Guillén, but after this news the couple could give their love a chance. If the parents do not go through the altar before the baby is born, this will be Bertín Osborne's first child out of wedlock.
So far Osborne has had six children, but lost one just a month after birth. He was the first he had with Sandra Domecq, his first wife whom he married at the age of 21. The boy, named Cristian, died in 1977 from a liver problem and, as Osbrone recounted, "died in my arms." She referred to him recently explaining that "I don't want to forget about my oldest son" and that the whole situation was "a tremendous blow."
After that hard episode, the couple had three daughters: Alejandra (1978), Eugenia (1986) and Claudia (1989). And from his second marriage, together with the Venezuelan model Fabiola Martínez, he has had two children: Norberto Enrique Ortiz Martínez (2007) and Carlos Ortiz Martínez (2008). In January 2021, the singer announced his separation from Fabiola, who has already reacted to her new paternity, assuring that "I can only wish her to be happy. And that she enjoy a lot."
