The Prada coat that has united the royalty of Denmark is now in Zara

Last Sunday, January 14, was the date indicated in the Danish calendar for the coronation of King Frederick X and, consequently, Queen Mary of Denmark. He did so wearing the oldest naval uniform in the world and she wore a pristine white dress signed by Danish designer Soeren Le Schmidt.

The image of both of them waving from the balcony of Christiansborg Palace, before the attentive gaze of the Danes, will remain in history. But they were not alone, their daughters Isabella and Josephine also accompanied their parents in this historic proclamation.

The eldest, 16 years old, dressed in red, while the youngest, 13 years old, was inspired by her mother's closet to clone one of her fetish pieces: a wool double-breasted coat. It is a navy-colored coat with a very feminine double-breasted cut, with contrasting double-breasted gold buttons.

The peculiarity of this model signed by Prada is that it is the same one that her mother wore at an institutional engagement on December 24, 2013 in Copenhagen and later on October 23, 2015.

The Inditex giant has already been in charge of launching in its new collection a copy very similar to that of the Italian luxury brand. It is a double-breasted coat made with 53% wool. Both models have shoulder pads, which stylize the silhouette, and embossed buttons. This one, on the other hand, is much cheaper and can be purchased in three colors (black, sand, navy) for 69.95 euros.
