The poisoned dart of Dani Alves' brother against Joana Sanz

The model Joana Sanz surprised her more than 970,000 followers yesterday with a publication announcing the end of her relationship with Dani Alves, the Brazilian soccer player with whom she had a relationship since 2015.

The player was arrested on January 20 for an alleged rape of a girl in a Barcelona nightclub and, after several months of suffering and pressure from the media, Sanz has decided to separate from what he believed to be the love of his life: "It's hard for me so much to accept that that person could break me into a thousand pieces. I think it will take me years of life to get his way of looking at me out of my memory, that way of as if I were the most incredible thing in the world,'' he expressed in the letter that he published on his Instagram.

The Canary Islander thus announced that she could not take the situation any longer and that a new phase of her life was beginning without Alves: ''I love him and I will always love him. Forgiving relieves, so I'll take the magic. I close a stage of my life that began on 05/18/15''.

These words have greatly surprised the fans of the young woman and the press, since from the beginning Joana showed strong support for her husband, despite the indications and evidence of the crime. With the passage of time and the progress of the investigation of the case, the model has realized that she did not know a facet of her partner and she has decided not to continue having a sentimental relationship with the Brazilian.

It seems that Joana Sanz's letter has not gone down very well in the footballer's environment. His closest family and friends continue to defend the innocence of Dani Alves, despite the fact that the judge denied the player's release due to the amount of evidence that exists of the crime and the risk of flight.

Alves' brother, Ney, uploaded a reflection to his Instagram profile yesterday a few hours after Joana's statement that seems to attack her directly for abandoning Dani: ''I'm going to give you some advice, and it's good even for me. Never expect consideration, recognition or loyalty from anyone. We have to be alert, because the same person who does you great good is the same person who will throw you to the ground tomorrow and crush you mercilessly'', a few words from artist Rony Kbuloso that have caused quite a stir.
