The 'La que se cerca' team, in a state of shock for José Luis Gil after his worrying condition

The Zaragoza actor José Luis Gil, beloved protagonist of series such as La que se cerca, continues to recover from the stroke he suffered in November 2021. Since then, everyone continues to patiently follow his progress, with the same hope: that he recovers as soon as possible. and can return to work.

His daughter Irene is in charge of giving news about the interpreter's health from time to time through her Instagram profile. The daughter of the popular actor once again turned to her social networks to confirm a few days ago that everyone around her is trying to accept a reality: life will never be the same.

Some words that have left his colleagues in the famous series completely shocked. "You ask me about my father, I thank you from the bottom of my heart, feeling so much affection is an honor. It is hard to have to speak on his behalf, I would like him to be able to respond to your messages. That is not the case," Irene wrote.

"Two years have passed and we are all assuming that life is not going to be the same again. It is a tremendous blow and it is difficult to fit in, we are in it. We fight to face this situation that is very complex and painful," he continued, sharing an image of her hugging the popular actor.

Some health problems prevented the actor from participating in the recordings of season 13 of the series, which is currently broadcast on Telecinco on Monday nights. Alberto Caballero, creator of the series, already assured that no matter what happened, they would "always" wait for the return of the actor, with whom he has worked for more than 20 years.

"Recovery is slow, but the guy does not lack energy and we hope and trust that he will fully recover. What happens is that it takes longer than we would all like," Caballero said last May. "He is recovering, what happens is that it is very slow because the stroke issues are very difficult to recover from. It is going well, but slow."

The creator of the series does not rule out his return. "We have hope. He is the only actor who has been in chapter 1. Now he can't, but he is fighting and we hope that, in time, he will return."

On the other hand, his co-workers have always dedicated words of affection to him and wanted to see him play again those characters that have given so much joy to so many generations. However, the actor is not in a position to return to his work, making that hope more of a wish than a reality.

Some of his colleagues, such as Jordi Sánchez, Pablo Chiappella and Carlos Areces, wanted to comment on this sad news. "It's very complicated and delicate," Sánchez explained at the premiere of his film, Alimañas, ensuring that he kept in constant contact with the family of his great friend. "I will be with him. He has been my partner for 15 years," he said, visibly moved, adding that "I don't like to talk about this, it's his family, his private life."
