The Grand Final of the 'Grand Prix' arrives: these will be the godparents who will accompany the contestants

It came the moment of truth. After six weeks of fierce competition, splashes, falls, smacks and other various blows, the Summer Grand Prix concludes its broadcast. It has been a very positive success for Televisión Española, which has achieved outstanding audience numbers and repercussions on social networks, adding hundreds of thousands of comments with each test. But the time has come to crown a champion in the Grand Final.

This coming Monday, September 4, starting at 10:35 p.m., La 1 broadcasts the decisive duel that will determine the winner of its first edition of the Grand Prix in 18 years. After having overcome their respective previous qualifiers and the semifinals, Alfacar (Granada) and Aguilar de Campoo (Palencia) will be the two towns that will fight on the set of the contest, with the intention of winning the final and putting their name in gold letters in the palmares

Televisión Española has released some relevant information about the program that will be broadcast next Monday, including the hosts that will be in charge of representing both teams. The actor and director Eduardo Casanova will be the godfather of Alfacar's blue stands, while El Dioni and Ángeles Muñoz, members of the techno-rumba group Camela, will be on the yellow side of Aguilar de Campoo. And they will not be alone in their task.

Along with Ramón García, the entire cast of this updated version of the program will appear at the Grand Final. Michelle Calvó, Cristinini, Wilbur, the heifer and the dinosaur Niko will take their respective places as the godparents' assistant, a commentator from the booth, an acrobat who presents the tests with a laugh and the main people responsible for modifying the future of the games, hindering the contestants of both teams.

This edition of the Grand Prix has had eight new towns that have left their bodies and souls in six weeks of confrontations full of blows, scares and other setbacks. Aguilar de Campoo (Palencia), Alfacar (Granada), Brión (Coruña), Cervelló (Barcelona), Colmenarejo (Madrid), Los Montesinos (Alicante), Tineo (Asturias) and Yepes (Toledo) have occupied the battles together with different godfathers , of which only two remain.

In this way, next Monday a new name will be added to the prize list of the contest, crowning the heir of Renedo de Esgueva in the regional version and of Carrión de los Condes on RTVE. Aguilar de Campoo could repeat the victory of Castilla y León in their respective last seasons, while Alfacar will seek to become the first Andalusian champion in the program's history, after three failed finals in 1999, 2008 and 2009.
