The debts that have haunted David Bustamante throughout his life

David Bustamante was one of the recent guests on The Road Home, where he shared intimate details about his financial situation, including his financial ups and downs over the years. Despite having to face financial problems in the past he has managed to stay afloat and find success off stage.

During his conversation with Albert Espinosa, Bustamante opened up about his economic problems and, especially, about a stage in his life marked by poor financial decisions: “I went into debt, as an economist I was also doing poorly.”

In this sense, he shared an anecdote from his youth, when, working as a construction worker, he tried to buy an expensive white gold and diamond bracelet for his mother with his first salary. The purchase, which exceeded his financial capacity at that time, taught him a valuable lesson about money management: "I had to pay for it for two months."

Bustamante has also lived in times of abundance. After his participation in Operación Triunfo, he invested in properties and businesses. Among his investments is the house that he shared with his ex-wife Paula Echevarría, sold in 2019 for 1.8 million euros after settling a significant debt of more than 700,000 euros with the Treasury.

On the other hand, the Cantabrian had to face a big hole with his record label, which had advanced him money. The singer's lack of professional activity meant that the record company was not recovering this investment, which further complicated his financial situation.

In addition, the singer has tried his luck in the business field with Celeste Music Sport SL and, later, with Daimala Producciones SL, both focused on the management of activities related to the world of entertainment, although the current situation of these companies is uncertain due to the lack of financial information available.

Despite the ups and downs of life, Bustamante's current situation seems to be favorable. After his divorce, and now in the company of his new partner, Yana Olina, he resides in a chalet in Boadilla del Monte, with an estimated value of close to 800,000 euros.

In addition, the launch of a new fragrance named Muy Mío Power can help you increase your checking account. In La Resistencia he even said that his perfume line is a success: he sells one every 30 seconds. "I'm a singing perfumer," he joked.
