"She looks like a Kim Kardashian edition Barbie": Beyoncé's striking change of look

This coming December 1st, Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé, a documentary that shows one of the concerts that the singer gave during her tour that took her around the world for six months, will hit theaters. Those who were not lucky enough to see it live, as well as those who want to relive the experience, have the opportunity to enjoy the show on the big screen.

This past weekend, the Crazy in Love singer attended the premiere of this film in Los Angeles very excited, where she was accompanied by her family and many friends. Although the singer did not walk the red carpet, several images of her styling have been seen thanks to Donatella Versace, the designer who designed her spectacular dress.

"Beyoncé, you are a dream at Versace. You are unique. I can't wait to see the film of the Renaissance tour," wrote the Italian in a publication that quickly went viral. For the occasion, the artist debuted a metallic dress, very fitted, that worked like a second skin.

A sensual futuristic design with a striking neckline that was combined with silver strappy sandals and latex gloves in the same tone that finished off the galactic effect of this style with which Beyoncé left speechless, also for her new look.

The artist captured everyone's attention with her new platinum blonde hair, ultra straight and parted in the middle. After several months wearing her hair in honey blonde, the Break My Soul singer decided to lighten her hair a lot to the point of reminding her of Kim Kardashian.

This was stated by Donatella Versace's followers on Instagram, where they referred to Beyoncé as "Kim's lost sister." Other comments were: "She looks like a Kim Kardashian edition Barbie", "for a second I thought she was Kim Kardashian" or "I honestly thought she was Kim until I read the text."

Others also noticed her much lighter skin tone, which generated controversy. "Why is she so white? I didn't recognize her," said one of her followers. Others lamented that, "I don't understand why a black woman wants to be blonde and light-skinned. Isn't that cultural appropriation?"
