Sergio Ramos does not publicly support Vinícius and they pounce on him: "he speaks up and defends the players"

What happened with Vinícius in Mestalla last Sunday has become an international issue. In all parts of the world, hundreds of thousands of voices cry out against racism, the treatment of the player and the way of doing things in Spain. However, one of these absent reactions has drawn attention and has been the target of criticism and questions. This is the former Real Madrid captain and current Paris Sant-Germain footballer, Sergio Ramos.

The player's latest post on Instagram shows his visit with Pilar Rubio and Keylor Navas to the Louis Vuitton Foundation in the French capital, where an exhibition dedicated to the collaborative work of Jean-Michel Basquiat and Andy Warhol is currently being held. However, the publication of this and other stories related to the museum has cost him a considerable stream of criticism.

And it is that the Camas player has not yet ruled on the controversy that occurred with his former wardrobe partner. The defender of the Parisian team has not commented on anything at all, neither about the game nor about the racist insults that Vinícius received on the Mestalla pitch. Such has been the silence after 72 hours that fans of Real Madrid have launched en masse to complain.

"You have a great impact on football society, speak up and defend the players", was one of the many phrases dedicated to him in the museum's publications. And it is that, unlike Ramos, other ex-footballers of the white team have spoken out regarding the controversy. The current president of Real Valladolid and Real Madrid legend, Ronaldo Nazario, has sent a forceful message supporting Vinícius' fight.

Meanwhile in Spain, the case continues its course. In the last few hours, the National Police arrested three young people between the ages of 18 and 21 in Valencia for their possible connection to the episode. All those arrested, of Spanish nationality, have been released after giving a statement and being summoned to appear before a judge, in case they are claimed. These have not been the only arrests in the morning, with another four produced in Madrid.

In this case, they correspond to the infamous doll of the Brazilian player hanging from a bridge on the M-11. This incident occurred in January, on the eve of the Copa del Rey quarterfinal matchup between Atlético de Madrid and Real Madrid. Three of the four detainees belong to the ultra group of the Athletic Front, and all of them are accused of hate crimes.
