Sandra Bullock's sister praises the actress for the good caretaker she was of her partner: "Wonderful"

Bryan Randall, actress Sandra Bullock's partner, died last Saturday, August 5, the victim of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), a disease that was diagnosed three years ago. The photographer had asked his family and his closest environment to keep his condition a secret, so little is known about how they would have carried out this fight against the disease.

However, it is known that the Oscar-winning actress, whom Randall met when she hired him to photograph her son Louis's birthday party in 2015; she did not leave her side for a single second. This is confirmed by the sister of the actress, Gesine Bullock-Prado, who at her farewell to the one she was her brother-in-law, affirms that Sandra Bullock as her caregiver was "wonderful".

“I am convinced that Bry has found the best fishing spot in the sky and is unleashing his charms in mighty rivers full of salmon. ALS is a cruel disease, but there is some comfort in knowing that he had the best of caretakers in my wonderful sister”, writes Gesine Bullock, who also sends her thanks to the group of nurses who helped the actress take care of your partner and be able to do it from the comfort of your home.

"Rest in peace, Bryan", the actress's sister ends up writing, asking for donations for the ALS unit of the Massachusetts General Hospital, just like her family requested when announcing her death a few hours before.

“Bryan Randall passed away peacefully after a three-year battle with ALS,” his family shared in a statement to People on Monday. "Those of us who care for him did everything possible to comply with his request," they say, thanking the health team that has been watching over him all this time for his support and care. "We ask for privacy for our mourning and assimilate the impossibility of having to say goodbye to Bryan," the family concluded.

Bullock met the photographer eight years ago, after he hired him to shoot the birthday party for his eldest son, Louis, who was turning five at the time. Their relationship was made public in 2016, being photographed together at the wedding of their friends Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux, one of the few moments in which the couple has been seen surrounded by celebrities.

Since then, the couple have lived their romance discreetly, raising their children together: the two of the actress, Louis (13) and Laila (10); and Randall's daughter, the fruit of a previous relationship. The last time the couple could be seen together was in 2020, on a family outing.
