Rubiales' cousins speak out after their mother's hunger strike: "Jenni, we want you to tell the truth"

Luis Rubiales, president of the Royal Spanish Football Federation, temporarily disabled, has been in the media spotlight since he kissed Jennifer Hermoso, a player of the Women's National Team, on the mouth during the collection of trophies for the Women's World Cup. An act that the soccer player herself calls "not consented" and claims to have felt "vulnerable and victim of aggression."

Given this, the leader's mother, Ángeles Béjar, has decided to lock herself up this Monday in the Divina Pastora de Motril church to declare a hunger strike. Despite the fact that she has not wanted to speak to anyone, Rubiales' cousin has not hesitated to offer a statement in this regard. "For me these statements are very harsh. To say that there is harassment and demolition that is not fair", she has begun to recount.

Vanesa Ruiz Béjar, cousin of the suspended president, has been very outraged with the player and with the press. "His mother, who is a very believing person, has taken refuge in God and has gone on a hunger strike. He does not want to leave the church, his family is suffering a lot for him. What is happening does not seem fair to us. What he has been judged before his time", he continued recounting.

After this, the leader's cousin has not hesitated to send a request to Jennifer Hermoso: "We want Jenni to tell the truth. Why has she changed her statement three times." Some words that she has repeated on several occasions: "We want them to leave us alone, for justice to be done and for this woman to tell the truth. Jenni, we want you to tell the truth."

Likewise, he wanted to make it clear that the mother of Luis Rubiales is suffering a lot, that she is an older woman and that she will continue on a hunger strike until Jennifer Hermoso "tells the truth." "Whoever spends five minutes with Luis knows that he is a beautiful person, that he is a person with a very good heart and very noble," she added.

But she has not been the only family member of Rubiales who has wanted to speak at the door of the church to denounce "this media lynching, which they want to kill in all ways." The leader's other cousin wanted to put on the table that "we are all people, and we are human beings, at a certain moment of joy and euphoria that can happen to you."

If something has become clear, it is that the Rubiales family has decided not to shut up and say everything they think publicly. "His mother is suffering a lot because there have been many lynchings for many years," she added. "When a person has nothing to hide, he goes ahead and he goes with all the consequences," she recounted firmly.

He has also ensured that the former president of the Federation is away with his daughters because he needs "mental rest." But that is not all. Demelza Meijas Sánchez wanted to charge Jennifer Hermoso: "The little girl that she is celebrating with everyone and after three days she with a statement that she has been assaulted. But let's see, are we stupid?"

He has also made it clear that Rubiales does not have to get out of the way because he would end up agreeing with the other party. "The lynching that he is receiving and the way that feminists, television, the press, politicians and everything are treating him as an aggression seems to me shameful," he added.

And before finishing his statements, he wanted to charge the player again. "From the first hour, when a woman feels attacked, she acts in a different way. There are many real people who hit her, who kill her, and this whole movement is not taking place," he concluded before returning to the interior of church.
