Revealed the day on which 'Amar es para siempre' will air its final chapter

Amar es para siempre became, on its own merits, one of the most remembered series in the history of Antena 3. Presented as the sequel to the mythical Amar in troubled times, broadcast between 2005 and 2012, it premiered in 2013 and has accumulated more of 2,000 episodes today. A work that seeks to show the Spain of the 60s, which has earned public recognition and will be remembered for decades.

However, everything comes to an end sooner or later, and in the case of Amar es para siempre, its broadcast ends on March 6. This was announced by Antena 3, ending a period of more than 11 years in broadcasting. The last episode, for which the San Sebastián de los Reyes network has promised “emotion, surprises and reunions”, will be broadcast on Wednesday of next week outside its usual schedule, in the prime time television slot.

It will be the night of March 6, just after El Hormiguero, when what has been one of Diagonal TV's key series closes its air time. It will be a tremendous ending after a season in which episodes have already been presented to the limit of emotions, which will culminate in an exciting final point to the story of Los Asturianos. From the beginning of this definitive stretch, reunions and unexpected love stories have been the order of the day.

Manolita, Marcelino and Pelayo have been the order of the day in the chapters that will accompany this outcome of the Amar franchise. Its interpreters, Itziar Miranda, Manuel Baqueiro and José Antonio Sayagués respectively, have been accompanied by other illustrious returnees such as Paula Usero, Carol Rovira, Daniel Cabrera, Álvaro de Juana, David Janer, Ángeles Martín, Sofia Milan, Natalia Rodríguez and Luz Valdenebro.

Likewise, the main cast has also remained at the forefront during the course of the series and arrives at the end with the intention of celebrating in the Plaza de los Frutos: Miriam Díaz-Aroca, Roberto Álvarez, Aída Folch, Norma Ruiz , Paula Gallego, Andrea Guasch, Carlos Cabra, Juan Blanco, Clara Garrido, Javier Albalá, Sergio Mur, Carlos González, Claudia Vega, Alberto Olmo, Alba Recondo, Ramón Puyol, Alfons Nieto and Roger Berruezo, among many others.

During the long journey of the more than 2,000 episodes broadcast so far, Amar es para siempre has advanced a total of 22 years in time, reaching 1982 and showing the profound transformation of Spain on a social, political and economic level. And the fictional sequel to Loving in troubled times began its stage in the 1960s, with the country still immersed in a confusing and turbulent period.
