Raúl Santamaría, one of the 'Mozos de Arousa', from television contestant to PP politician

Chain Reaction is one of the programs that work best right now on Telecinco. The space presented by Ion Aramendi has managed to attract a loyal audience that accompanies the contestants every afternoon and elevates the show to obtain good audience data.

We cannot talk about this contest without mentioning the 'Mozos de Arousa'. The team made up of three Galician friends (Borja, Raúl and Bruno) has managed to stay on the program for almost 200 episodes and has accumulated more than 1.1 million euros. ''We cannot make short-term plans. This success is something you don't expect. You're going to try your luck, you win the first show, the second and so on... It changes your life,'' the group commented in an interview a few months ago. In addition to having a great friendship, Raúl and Borjamina are brothers.

The young people from Vilagarcía de Arousa have become really known in our country. While Borja enjoys a great presence on social networks and Bruno triumphs in another Telecinco program (Dancing with the Stars), Raúl has surprised the audience with a leap into politics.

Social networks had already reported that Santamaría was a member of the Popular Party, but everything changed when the PP won the Xunta elections by an absolute majority last Sunday. The young man was number seven on the list of the conservative party in Pontevedra, which is why he has obtained his certificate of regional deputy.

The young teacher with a degree in teaching has opened up in an interview with La Voz de Galicia and has confessed to being very excited about the election results, but also nervous about what is to come: ''I am very excited, but I am also aware that It is a huge responsibility. My intention is to be on the street, listen to people (...)''.

In the conversation with the aforementioned media, Santamaría has acknowledged that it will be hard to work as a politician and commit to 'Los Mozos' every day on the small screen, but he has made it clear that he will give his best: ''If the team does not He resented the campaign, in which I was at my best... When they offered me to go on the list, I already explained that I had to make the two things compatible. I had joined a team of three and I didn't want to leave them stranded.''

The young man trusts that he will be able to make everything compatible well: ''Especially with forty deputies. If we stayed at 38 it would still be more complicated, now we have that margin."
