Psychiatrist Enrique Rojas gives the keys to finding the perfect partner: "It is a work of psychological craftsmanship"

Emotional relationships are one of the most complicated elements to manage in today's world. There are so many people who can fall in love with each other and develop couples that we do not stop to think about the difficulties presented by aspects such as coexistence, keeping the flame alive, understanding each other and communicating. That is why it is often difficult to find that person who best connects with you.

This aspect has been discussed during the first broadcast of the week of TardeAR, Telecinco's evening show presented by Ana Rosa Quintana. The program was attended by Enrique Rojas, a doctor and psychiatrist from Granada, director of the Spanish Institute of Psychiatric Research. During his intervention, he was able to talk at length about the keys to finding the perfect partner and keeping it.

Rojas has defined the work in progress as a work of psychological craftsmanship, trying to cope with the scares that life gradually drops. According to his explanations, there have also been cases with pathologies of “fear of commitment”, leading to tachycardia and cold sweats. The key to success is emotional management and any unexpected situation, collected under the expression “knowing how to handle”.

The psychiatrist considers it important to try to downplay the importance and not dramatize it depending on what discussions may occur. It is a case of learning to put things into perspective in terms of coexistence, reducing fights from an assertive stance on both sides of the couple. Rojas has also highlighted the three basic pillars of falling in love according to his point of view: physical and psychological attraction and admiration.

One of the most crucial aspects is maintaining a relationship over time, over years and even decades. In addition to avoiding unnecessary discussions, the man from Granada pointed out the possibility of leaving the list of grievances as far away as possible, in addition to not falling into short-term dramas because of the problems. Rojas understands that you have to broaden your perspective, maintain a longer and more extended vision of the play.

This first TardeAR program of the week has also provided a standout television moment so far in 2024: the on-screen reunion of Vicky Martín Berrocal and Manuel Díaz 'El Cordobés', 27 years after their marriage. "I'm very happy. For me it is a very special day because we had not planned it, it has arisen and here we are because we get along very well and our daughter is enjoying it a lot and that is wonderful,” highlighted the designer.
