Prince William resumes his official agenda after Kate Middleton's cancer announcement

Prince William will resume his official schedule on Thursday, March 18, marking his reappearance and return to public duties since his wife, Kate Middleton, revealed that she was receiving preventive chemotherapy treatment following the diagnosis of an unspecified cancer after having underwent planned abdominal surgery last January.

This will be the first time that the heir can be seen fulfilling his duties again and once again assuming those of his father, King Charles III, who in turn is also undergoing an innovative treatment against the cancer he suffers from.

The Prince of Wales, 41, has been absent from official engagements since his wife announced her diagnosis, a fact that shocked the population and which she herself described as a "huge shock."

Since then, the heir has dedicated himself to caring for his wife and three children, Princes George (10), Charlotte (8) and Louis (5); away from the media spotlight from the Amner Hall country house. A refuge where they have been able to deal with the whole matter and the media pressure in private, just before the children also resumed their school commitments.

A few days ago, the Prince of Wales was photographed with his eldest son, Prince George, enjoying a football match against his favorite team, Aston Villa, who ended up victorious in the match against Lille in the Villa Park stadium. However, this Thursday marks the first time that the heir will make an official public appearance.

Specifically, Prince William will reappear visiting two points. First, to help Surplus to Supper, a surplus food redistribution charity in the county of Surrey. There, the prince will get to work and help in the kitchen to prepare the food that will be loaded into the vans for distribution to less fortunate households.

The heir will then go to a youth center, located west of London, which receives regular deliveries from that organization.

It was initially announced that the Princess of Wales would resume her official agenda after the Easter holidays. However, it has already been confirmed that her reappearance will occur when her medical team says she is well enough to do so; so there is no set date for it.
