The Promise has returned to the small screen one more day with a most interesting episode. In this latest installment of the Spanish Television La 1 series, we have seen how Jana has addressed Manuel and insisted that he talk to her mother, Cruz, in order to clarify the controversial case of the fan, and discover if she is truly Marquesa knew Ramona.
On the other hand, Jana and Abel are not having their best moment. The second realized that the maid was distant, and finally, Jana made it clear to him that she doesn't even know what's happening to her. She therefore does not ask him to separate from her, but she does need some distancing, since she considers that Abel is going too fast.
Thanks to Rómulo's constant support, Pía finally makes a decision and signs the agreement with the marchioness. Manuel, for his part, finally decides to confront his mother about Ramona's mysterious disappearance, although he fails to show her her incriminating fan.
The marchioness, however, weaves a web of deception that begins to sow doubts in Manuel's mind regarding his mother. The budding relationship between Jana and Abel faces obstacles, as both hide numerous secrets that undermine the mutual trust they seek to build.
In the midst of this situation, María intervenes and provides advice to Jana, urging her to take things slowly and consider the importance of sincerity if she really wants a solid relationship with the doctor.
Despite the obstacles that the marchioness put in their way, Pelayo and Catalina remain steadfast and continue to move forward with their jam project, while making evident their growing interest in each other. Lorenzo, for his part, manages to achieve his objectives just when the time comes to celebrate the poker game, although he is unaware that an unexpected player will join this game.
