Popular 'youtuber' Jenny Blalock dies in a plane crash with her father

During the last few months, tragedies around the virtual community have come to the fore more than should be usual. Several widely recognized figures on social networks or platforms like TikTok have left us this fall, causing a significant void in their environments. In mid-October we discovered the death of Raechelle Chase, Australian bodybuilder, at age 40. Now, another figure has lost his life in tragic circumstances.

This is Jenny Blalock, a renowned 45-year-old YouTuber, who died after a small plane accident with her father James, 78. The airplane they were piloting, a Beechcraft 35, crashed in a remote area near the city of Pulaski, Tennessee, in the United States. The fuselage fell in a wooded area with difficult access, so rescue teams had difficulty accessing the wreckage.

The bodies of both deceased were found near the Alabama state line, about 30 kilometers from Pulaski. Bill Myers, director of the Giles County Office of Emergency Management, spoke with local channel 10 News to provide more information about the events. “It was just devastating. Unfortunately, there were simply no survivors,” were his comments on the matter.

The data recorded from the flight before the disaster indicate that father and daughter began their journey in the city of Knoxville. From there, they traveled a total of 290 kilometers before crashing, for reasons still unknown. The incident took place near what was supposed to be their landing site, an airport located 16 kilometers away. Despite the tragic nature of the event, investigations continue to clarify doubts.

Blalock had a well-known YouTube channel in the United States, where he dedicated his content to the world of aviation. Under the name TNFlyGirl, she had almost 17,000 subscribers and a multitude of videos in which she showed her training sessions at altitude. The bulk of them were made on the plane that crashed this past Thursday, which was from his video. One of his last videos was from a month earlier, and it was problematic.

In the images, it was recorded how she and her father had to make an emergency landing after the Beechcraft 35 began to malfunction at altitude. Father and daughter were located about 4,000 feet, or 1,200 meters above the ground, before leaving the training session due to the device's failures.
